Christmas Light Repair, Maintenance & Takedown
A dark section of roofline in the second week of December is a specific kind of annoying. The display was the point, half of it is out, and the person who hung it is not returning calls.
We repair and maintain holiday lighting from St. George to Salt Lake City. If we installed it, in-season service is already part of your package.
What we fix
- Dead sections and dead strands. Usually one failed bulb, a failed fuse in the plug, or a connection that has pulled apart in the wind.
- Sagging or fallen runs. Clips that let go, usually because they were the wrong clip for that roof edge, or because they were reused one season too many.
- Timer and controller faults. Lights that will not come on, come on at the wrong time, or will not turn off.
- Storm and wind damage. Reattaching and replacing what came down.
If we installed it, this is already covered
In-season service is part of every Glow Forward install, not a separate charge. A strand goes out, you call, we come and fix it — that is what the 5-Star Guarantee is for.
Takedown and storage
Takedown is the job everybody forgets to plan for. It is the same ladder, the same roof and the same weather as the install, in January, when nobody wants to do it.
We take down lights we installed as part of the package, and we store them until next season.
Off-season: the repair nobody books
The best time to deal with a system that struggled last December is February, not next November. Faults found in the takedown are cheap to fix in the quiet months and expensive to fix in the three-week crush before Thanksgiving.
If your display was disappointing last year, tell us about it in the spring.

Why do my lights keep going out in the same spot?
Usually a connection under strain — a run that is slightly too tight, a joint sitting where water collects, or a clip carrying weight it was not designed for. Fixing the bulb without fixing the cause means it happens again in a fortnight.
My timer works but half the display is dark.
That is almost always a strand fault, not the timer. Two circuits, one failed.
