Utah Valley venues tend to work with a different backdrop than St. George's red rock — block walls, timber, and the Wasatch Range itself as scenery. Uplighting is still usually the single highest-impact fixture on the site, but the color and angle decisions get made against that backdrop instead of against sandstone.
The site visit is where that gets decided, not the quote. What reads well against a stone wall at dusk can wash out against timber, and a fixture angled for a daytime walk-through often needs to move once the sun is down and the actual backdrop is visible.

It affects the timeline more than the gear. The equipment is outdoor-rated. What the cold changes is how soon guests move indoors or under a heater, so the lighting plan accounts for that shift, not just for the ceremony.
How far ahead should we book a Lehi date?
