Permanent Outdoor Lighting in St. George, UT

Why permanent lighting suits St. George homes
Three local reasons, and only one of them is about Christmas.
The roofs. A lot of St. George-area homes have tile roofs, steep single-slope pitches and two-story entries. That is the combination that makes homeowners stop hanging their own lights, and it is the combination that makes a once-and-done install worth paying for.
The sun. St. George UV is hard on anything left outdoors and harder still on anything stored in a hot garage for eleven months. A fixed, outdoor-rated system is built to live out in it. Seasonal strands are not.
The other eleven months. Most owners here use the system as warm-white accent and security lighting on a dusk timer, every night, and only think about color a few weeks a year. If you only price it as Christmas lighting you are mispricing it.

Freezing mornings in St. George start around November 12 and run to mid-March, with an average December low of 27.9 °F.
The channel goes up in any dry weather, so spring through October is the better window — a longer appointment, an unhurried walk-through, and your system is live before the season instead of during it.
Booking a permanent install in the three weeks before Thanksgiving means competing for time with every seasonal install in Washington County. There is no reason to.

St. George, Washington, Santa Clara, Ivins and Leeds
We install permanent lighting across the St. George area. Ivins (3,156 ft) and Santa Clara (2,759 ft) sit slightly higher and more exposed than St. George itself at 2,530 ft, which matters for wind loading on a long eave run more than it does for temperature.

Can you see it in daylight?
Barely. Color-matched channel, tucked under the eave. From the street it reads as a shadow line.
Can I run it every night, not just at Christmas?
That is what most owners do. Warm white on a dusk timer is the default use; the colors are the occasional part.
Is it worth it in a house I might sell in three years?
Probably not, and we will say so. Seasonal is the better answer for a short horizon.
How does it hold up to St. George summers?
It is an outdoor-rated system fixed to the building, designed to stay out in it. That is the main thing it does better than a seasonal strand living in a hot garage.
What if a section fails?
The LEDs are individually addressable, so a fault is a section rather than the whole run, and it is repairable in place.
When can you install it?
Most of the year. Spring through October is easier for both of us than November.
